- Amlan Datta was born 1971. He is a Kolkata painter, photographer, cinematographer and film maker . He hold a degree from the Film & Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune, 1996. Datta launched the company anImmaginer and made his first independent documentary right after the film school. He hasworked as a freelance cinematographer for a wide range of projects both in India & abroad been making films as independent director/ producer for more than a decade.
