' award-winning short film, PARIAH, screens at 2008 Sundance Film Festival after winning the Spike Lee post-production fellowship and the Audience Award at the Los Angeles Film Festival. Rees received a DFP award in 2007 for EVENTUAL SALVATION, as well as the 2007 Tribeca All Access Creative Promise Award.

Having barely escaped with her life over a decade ago, my American born 80-year old grandmother returns to Monrovia, Liberia to rebuild her home and community after the devastating Liberian civil war. EVENTUAL SALVATION is the story of Amma's journey home to help rebuild the country that gave her a second chance. Through Amma, we meet her circle of friends and walk with them as they search for personal salvation while Liberia itself struggles for deliverance from 10 tumultuous years of civil war.
