made her directorial debut in 2001 with the Academy Award nominated film CHILDREN UNDERGROUND, which aired on HBO/Cinemax and was released theatrically in the United States. Belzberg is a recipient of the 2005 MacArthur Fellowship, and a DFP grant for AN AMERICAN SOLDIER in 2006.
